In cases of a Maltese citizen’s overseas birth, the registration can also be made through one of Malta’s Missions. An original birth certificate issued by the competent authority and confirmation of Maltese citizenship is required. Furthermore, applicants can also visit the Malta Public Registry offices in Marsa or the Gozo Public Registry, Victoria to personally submit a registration.
