Expatriates Unit

Third-country nationals who:

 

  1. have been legally and continuously residing in Malta for a period of five (5) years or more;
  2. have stable and regular resources;
  3. have their own accommodation and;
  4. fulfil integration measures (outlined in Subsidiary Legislation 217.05), may apply for the long-term residence status. The status of long-term residents is permanent and the residence permit would be issued for a period of five (5) years.
