Col. Claudio Spiteri

Colonel Claudio Spiteri was appointed Chief Compliance Officer in December 2023.

With a proven track record in implementing effective compliance strategies whilst serving as Head of the Compliance Unit within the agency, this ex-Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) officer has consistently ensured adherence to regulations and standards in force while driving a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour. His strong leadership and communication skills have enabled him to successfully navigate through complex regulatory landscapes, and also build robust compliance frameworks that mitigate risks and safeguard the organization’s reputation.

Before this role, Col. Spiteri held key positions in the Armed Forces of Malta and the Malta Gaming Authority. With a commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance, Col. Spiteri is poised to lead the organisation in maintaining a culture of accountability and ethical conduct while fostering sustainable growth and innovation.
