Martin Bowerman

Following the agency's establishment in 2013, Martin was appointed Chief Officer for Finance & Administration and played a key role in establishing its operations and management.

This involved the development of a policy and procedures manual, accounting system, internal audit functions, and procurement procedures, along with the restructuring and consolidation of various government departments and the planning, budgeting, procurement, and administration of the entire agency.

Martin was previously in charge of Malta Enterprise's Small Enterprise Directorate Unit, where he participated in a number of EU-financed projects and assisted the local industry to develop financial instruments in accordance with EU State Aid regulations. In order for local businesses to be eligible for financial assistance, Martin also helped them develop their business plans while ensuring that the plans were fully implemented.

Martin has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Henley, a Diploma in Business Studies also from Henley, UK, and a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Malta. Additionally, he is also a member of the Henley Alumni Association (UK & Malta).
