Searches
The main function of the Searches Unit is to provide official searches aimed at determining whether an individual or company would have been involved in the transfer of immovable property within a specific period. The searches contain documents referred to as notes that are drawn up in conjunction with deeds related to the transfer of property; the former is divided into three categories.
Incorporating the summaries of contracts involving the purchase or sale of property, inter vivos, Donations, Causa Mortis, and Wills.
Entailing notes of hypothec and privilege, which secure obligations such as loans.
Notes related to the payment of ground-rents.
Other notes referred to Small Indices such as Warrants of Prohibitory Injunction, Warrants of Personal Separation, Notes on Money Laundering, Company Notices, Subbasti etc. are issued within every order if they fit the indicated parameters.
These notes are either brought for registration (or enrolment) by the notary (or his representative) or sent from Court.
